The AVK Way Of Leadership Training

Wow! What an amazing day it was on the 01st February 2024 we hosted #TheAVKWayofLeadership training for the AVK Southern Africa leadership team. It was a full house and a packed agenda in our Training Academy. This dynamic training focused on key elements that define our leadership culture, a comprehensive guide encompassing company history, Core Values, ABS, and Leadership Principles was unveiled.

Introducing the powerful 7 Leadership Principles, shaping a commitment to excellence and innovation that guide leaders throughout the AVK group,  as well as exploring AVK's 5 Core Values - Quality, Innovation, Reliability, Sustainability & Customer Service. The linkage between our values and customer promises under "Expect AVK" solidifies our commitment to providing unparalleled service. Engaging in a dialogue on what constitutes Good Leadership within AVK fostered collaboration and a shared understanding. A commitment emerged to fortify leadership collectively and individually, promising continued success and resilience. Leaders also reflected on the AVK Business System (ABS), a dynamic framework ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement, propelling AVK towards its vision of being the customer's preferred partner.

The desired outcome of leadership training is for participants to feel prepared and be equipped with “The AVK Way of Leadership.”  The most important take away is that a training course should serve as a starting point and a continuation in the leadership development process, rather than a one-time event.
